What we build
A fireplace is a masonry structure, not an accessory. We pour a footing, build the firebox and chimney to draft correctly, line it with firebrick, and face it in stone or brick that matches your hardscape. The result throws heat, vents smoke away from the seating area, and becomes the anchor the rest of the patio is designed around.
Fire pits are faster and just as usable. Wood-burning versions get a steel or masonry liner; gas versions get a burner, key valve and safe gas run installed before the hardscape closes up. We build the seating walls, patio and lighting around the feature so the whole area works as one space after dark.

Gas or wood-burning?
Gas turns on instantly and makes no mess; wood gives real heat, crackle and cooking. We build both, and can run gas to a wood-look burner if you want the middle ground.
How close can a fire pit be to the house or a pergola?
There are clearance requirements that depend on the feature and structure. We plan placement to meet them — that is part of the layout work, not an afterthought.
Can a fire feature be added to an existing patio?
Yes. We open the area, pour the footing, build the feature and reset the surrounding pavers so the patio looks untouched.
